Important
KSRRangAudio does not automatically upload user-selected media or remote-server content to servers operated by the Company. With SMB, FTP, or SFTP, data is transferred between the user's device and the server the user specifies.

2. Media file processing
KSRRangAudio plays and processes audio and video files that the user directly selects or permits the app to access. Processing includes speed and pitch changes, 10-band EQ adjustment, vocal removal, audio extraction, and saving edited results.
As a rule, these media files and results are processed on the user's device and are not automatically transmitted or uploaded to servers operated by the Company.
3. Microphone and overdubbing
KSRRangAudio may request microphone permission to provide overdubbing. The microphone is used only while the user has explicitly started recording.
Recorded voice or instrument audio is mixed with a backing track to create an overdub result and is stored in app-internal storage. The Company does not automatically transmit this recording to its servers.
4. SMB, FTP, and SFTP remote-server features
Users may play, edit, or remove vocals from audio and video files on an SMB, FTP, or SFTP server that they manage or are authorized to access.
Connection information that may be processed
- Server address or host name
- Port number
- Username
- Password, private key, or other authentication information
- Remote path and filename
Connection information is used on the user's device to provide the remote connection. The Company does not automatically collect it on Company servers. However, the operator of the selected server or a network provider may process connection logs and transfer information under that operator's policy.
FTP security warning: Standard FTP may not encrypt credentials or transferred content. For important files or credentials, use encrypted SFTP or a trusted network.
5. File storage and sharing
The following may be stored in app-internal storage:
- Edited files with speed, pitch, or EQ changes
- Vocal-removal results
- Overdub recordings and mixed results
When the user invokes sharing, Android sends the file to a third-party app selected by the user, such as KakaoTalk, email, or cloud storage. After sharing, that app's privacy policy and terms govern its processing of the file and personal information.

If an optional permission is denied, features that do not need it remain available, but features requiring it may be limited.
7. Advertising and third-party services
KSRRangAudio may use advertising services such as Google AdMob to operate the service. An advertising SDK may process information such as an advertising identifier, IP address, device information, app interactions, and approximate location to deliver ads, prevent abuse, limit frequency, and measure performance.
In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and other regions requiring consent, a choice screen for advertising and related data processing may be provided under applicable law and Google policies. Data processed by a third-party service is governed by that provider's privacy policy.
If advertising or a particular diagnostic service is not included in the released version, that service does not process data.
8. Third-party disclosure and international transfer
As a rule, the Company does not sell personal information. However, when a user directly shares a file, or when the app includes a third-party advertising or diagnostic SDK, the relevant service provider may process related information.
When global providers such as Google are used, information may be processed on servers outside the Republic of Korea. The specific data and locations depend on the provider's policies and service configuration.
9. Retention and deletion
Settings, remote-server credentials, and created files stored by KSRRangAudio in app-internal storage may remain on the device until the user deletes them in the app or uninstalls the app.
- Created files: retained until the user deletes them
- App settings and server credentials: retained until deleted by the user or app data is cleared
- Temporary processing data: deleted or overwritten when no longer needed after completion
- Third-party advertising and diagnostic data: retained according to each provider's retention period
Depending on Android backup settings or the device manufacturer's backup features, some app data may be backed up to the user's Google account or manufacturer cloud.
10. User rights and choices
Users can manage processing by:
- Changing or withdrawing KSRRangAudio permissions in Android Settings
- Deleting saved files and remote-server credentials in the app
- Clearing app data or uninstalling the app
- Changing advertising privacy choices through a consent screen or device settings
- Contacting us with a privacy inquiry or request
11. Children's personal information
KSRRangAudio is not designed to intentionally collect children's personal information. If we learn that information requiring consent from a legal representative has been collected, we will take the measures required by applicable law.
12. Security measures
The Company applies reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal information and user data. Security, account management, and access permissions for an SMB, FTP, or SFTP server operated or selected by the user remain the user's responsibility.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This policy may be revised due to changes in features, law, or service operation. Material changes will be announced through the app, website, or Google Play listing.

14. Website display-language detection
To determine whether a visitor is connecting from the Republic of Korea and automatically show Korean or English, this website sends a short request to the IP-based country detection service ipwho.is. The website stores only the resulting language value in the browser's session storage and does not separately store the IP address.
If country detection fails, the browser time zone is used to choose a language. Visitors can override the automatic choice at any time through the page's language link. The external country detection service may process information under its own policy.
